we're thinking with all our might
while they decide black from white
we slide through an endless plight
clothes, food, and home don't suffice
we buy things for a six figure price
It all went wrong- the earth's demise
dogs are beaten, aloud their cries
for food while beggars pray
and live as moments sway
the system does nothing
in the hopes of a magical something
the reality is dark, and doped on evil
liquor in crystal glasses on refill
why did we forget our place of being
while destiny does not come with foreseeing
indeed, the reality
tis birth of proclivity
while perpetually are we, alone and sad
